A new kitchen scheme, named after former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, is now launched in Rajasthan for providing nutritious food to the poor and needy twice a day on concessional rates. To ensure that people belonging to the economically weaker sections get meals at a highly subsidised rate, the Rajasthan government is providing fresh and nutritious meals for Rs 8 from August 20, Thursday. Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Gehlot  launched the “Indira Rasoi Yojana” to provide quality nutritious meals to the downtrodden section of society.A thali provided by GGF have 100 gms of pulses, 100 gms of vegetables, 250 gms chapatti and pickles.

Gyan Gullak Foundation has been working in this nobel field to provide foods to the needy ones. Now GGF have taken the responsibility to run an Indira Rasoi at Surajgarh in Jhunjhunu District of Rajasthan State.
